Phase-sensitive narrowband heterodyne holography.
We report on amplitude and phase imaging of out-of-plane sinusoidal surface vibration at nanometer scales with a heterodyne holographic interferometer. The originality of the proposed method is to make use of a multiplexed local oscillator to address several optical sidebands into the temporal bandwidth of a sensor array. This process is called coherent frequency-division multiplexing. It enabl...
متن کاملBackground free CARS imaging by phase sensitive heterodyne CARS.
In this article we show that heterodyne CARS, based on a controlled and stable phase-preserving chain, can be used to measure amplitude and phase information of molecular vibration modes. The technique is validated by a comparison of the imaginary part of the heterodyne CARS spectrum to the spontaneous Raman spectrum of polyethylene. The detection of the phase allows for rejection of the non-re...
متن کاملHeterodyne Holography: An Optimal and Versatile 2D Detection Scheme
Heterodyne holography is a variant of phase shifting holography in which reference and signal arms are controlled by acousto optic modulators. We will briefly describe the method and illustrate its advantages on experimental examples. OCIS codes: 090.1995: Holography: Digital holography, 040.2840: DetectorsHeterodyne Citation M. متن کاملVideo-rate laser Doppler vibrometry by heterodyne holography.
We report a demonstration video-rate heterodyne holography in off-axis configuration. Reconstruction and display of a one megapixel hologram is achieved at 24 frames per second, with a graphics processing unit. Our claims are validated with real-time screening of steady-state vibration amplitudes in a wide-field, noncontact vibrometry experiment.
متن کاملHeterodyne Holography Applications in Studies of Small Components
Heterodyne hologram interferometry was used to study load-deformation characteristics of computer microcomponents that were surface mounted on a printed circuit board. The board was assembled as a cantilever plate and subjected to cyclic flexure loading according to industry standards. The flexure loading was sinusoidal at 0.1 cps with an amplitude of 1.25 mm (0.050 in.) at the tip of the board...
